Team Building
Geocaching as a Team Building excercise requires teams to compete in a high-tech treasure hunt. Each team is given a GPS units that is pre-programmed with the required coordinates of each treasure, called caches. Throughout the experience teams will encounter puzzles, challenges and activities which must reinforce team skills. Participating teams will face new learning experiences that test their ability to learn and adapt to changing environments. Teams will be presented with environments and situations that require them to think differently and to coordinate as a team.
How Geocache Team Building Works
Participants will be required to use analytical skills in order to successfully locate caches and move on to subsequent caches. In addition to working together to find hidden caches teams will also be required to solve challenges in order to advance. Some challenges are will test awareness and perception skills while others will test analytical or technical skills. The goal of the geocache team building is to strengthen communication and relational skills.
Geocache team building events can be held in a variety of locations including urban parks, beaches, hotel grounds and resorts. Access to a clear view of the sky is required.
